Your only thought will be "how hard" do i hit this

Would you ever change your putting stance

Probably NOT

Then why do we do it every time we play?

The 3' and longer

  • Aim, pick a spot two feet in front of you
  • Get in a comfy stance
  • Put the ball forward in your stance
  • Relax, stay balanced
  • Just barely grip the putter
  • Stand with your eye over the ball
  • Keep the face square to the line
  • Think about how hard to hit it
  • Don't get wristy
  • Hit up on the ball
  • Verify your aim
  • Don't over think it!

The 2' and under

  • Put 90% of your weight on the front foot
  • Stand mostly upright and over the ball
  • Quickly take aim and lock in the face angle
  • Think about how hard to hit the ball
  • Less is More

The putting stroke should be simple but it's not.

Why?

There are so many moving parts and variables to consider!

  • The human body has over 220 Degrees of Freedom and 640 skeletal muscles.
  • Nearly all impact the putting stroke by either affecting your Center of Gravity or the angles of impact.
  • Furthermore, each person has slightly different range of motion impacting control of The CG and Impact Plane.
